The 1940's Movie

Looking from the back of the place I stayed in Merida toward the front. It's a nice old house with a courtyard in the middle and rooms scattered around. A guy who helps run it describes it as like living in a 1940's movie. I'm not sure I've seen any 1940's movies, but it sounds about right.
