Tourists in My Hometown
Newport, Kentucky, USA
September 29, 2001

Mom and me playing tourists in my own hometown. This is just across the Ohio River in Newport, Kentucky looking back into Cincinnati.

The bridge behind us is my favorite in the city, but it gets no respect. There's another down the river that was done by the Brooklyn Bridge engineer supposedly as a prototype for its much bigger cousin in New York. That one gets all the attention. But I like the color and geometry of this one.

They call it the Big Mac bridge. Can you guess why?
